Employment Ready
Services
The first step in a job search, of course, is a good resume. We can help you put your best foot forward by highlighting your strengths and career goals.
The next step is to determine where to apply. We will talk about various options open to you and services available to help you. When we can, we will provide introductions to additional employment services. We will strategize on accommodations you can request when you apply for jobs.
What is important to know is that today, employers have the legal obligation to provide accommodations to prospective employees and employees. Interview accommodations can include getting the interview questions ahead of time or a sample of them. Getting details such as the employer’s hiring process, who will be present at the interview, the intent of the interview, and the dress code are some examples of information you can get ahead of time.
Once you are contacted for an interview, we can help you determine how best to present yourself in person to highlight your strengths. If we have access to the questions ahead of time, we can help you formulate your answers.
And, of course, we follow up with you after the interview to see how you are doing.
The depth and duration of our involvement with you at this time will determine whether there will be a fee for this service. The first hour of our time is free of charge.
